Double Accolade for International Tile & Stone NY
The International Tile & Stone Show - New York (ITSS-New York) has been named The Best New Trade Show both nationally and internationally by Expo Magazine, the leading US publication of the exposition industry. The announcement of the prestigious 2005 Best New Show awards was made by Danica Tormohlen, the publication's Editor-in-Chief. Winners were selected based on net square footage, number of exhibiting companies and visitor attendance.
The first edition of ITSS-New York, held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center last July, was produced by ITSS Expos, whose principals are Richard Caires (President) and Douglas Caires (CEO). ITSS Expos' three annual shows in the USA are spread geographically - being held in Los Angeles, Miami and New York. The company recently extended its reach globally with the announcement of its association with The London Stone Show and The Dublin Stone Show, under the banner of The Global Stone Show Group.
According to Danica Tormohlen, "This year's winners prove that trade and consumer shows continue to be the best medium to bring together buyers and sellers face to face, across all industries. Show organizers like ITSS-Expos are producing successful show launches in emerging industries as well as with regional and spin-off events".
The 2nd Annual ITSS-New York will return to the Javits Center from 21-24 July 2005. "We are clearly the number 1 show of choice for fabricators, designers, architects and specifiers who are looking for the latest tile, stone and machinery products on the market today," said Douglas Caires, "and we will only reinforce this position going forward. Our philosophy has been to leave no stone unturned to make our shows great."
