Clay Building Technical Certificate Guide
The Refractories & Building Products Training Council has produced a short leaflet as a guide to employees on the Clay Building Products Option of its Technical Certificate. The Clay Building Products Option is endorsed by the Institute of Clay Technology.
The leaflet takes a brief look at the course content and structure, at whom the Technical Certificates are aimed, learning, assessment, the core unit and - in this case - the various elements of the clay building products unit. This latter item covers areas such as raw materials, winning and processing, forming methods, drying, firing, products for customers, distribution, process control and trials, product testing, health & safety, environment and quality.
