CERATEC Granted New Brick Project in Algeria

CERATEC NV/SA (Ploegsteert, Belgium) has announced that Tizi Ceramique (Tizi-Ouzou, Algeria) has awarded the company a contract for the complete realisation of a new brickworks with an output of 70,000 tons/year.

The contract includes:

-- the study
-- the installation of production equipment
-- the commissioning
-- the follow-up
-- the training of personnel

The Ceratec contract has just come into force in the last quarter and brick production at the new plant is expected to commence at the end 2007.
