Trade and specialist literature, associations and organisationsWhen the exhibition was last held, in 2000, there were 830 exhibitors - 523 of them from outside Germany. Gross exhibition space was 70,000 square metres. The total number of visitors in 2000 was 28,660, over half of whom came from outside Germany - representing 85 countries.
The organisers are planning a top quality congress programme linking industry with science, research and practical applications. This will be held in the ICM - International Congress Center Munich - which is located on the same site.
Visitors to Ceramitec come from the main ceramic manufacturing sectors world-wide, including producers of bricks, roof tiles, stoneware, refractories, wall and floor tiles, sanitaryware, tableware, general pottery, technical ceramics, sintered goods and powder metallurgy.
The slightly different timeslot for the 2003 event means that on this occasion the last day of the event coincides with the opening day of the famous Oktoberfest.
The deadline for all submissions for exhibiting space is 15 December 2002.
