New Brick Bulletin Launched

The launch issue of the newly redesigned Brick Bulletin is now out. Bound into both RIBA Journal and Building magazines, the stylish contemporary format is also available as an independent publication.

The new Brick Bulletin encompasses three case studies of significant brick buildings and a pictorial feature of mostly continental examples. Aside from this, it would not be complete without an in-depth technical analysis on brickwork construction. However, it also has a new Hero feature that will look at some of the most inspiring brick buildings of the past. In addition, Detail will examine an aspect of brick detailing that will be of interest to designers and specifiers.

In this launch issue, Ken Shuttleworth kicks off the Viewpoint column with his early and more recent experiences of designing with brick. We also learn that his newly formed practice ‘make’ is currently designing a 140m long terrace of brick houses in Marylebone. Watch this space for further developments.

Brick Bulletin is published by the Brick Development Association.
