Important Notice - Revised Schedule for BAU 2003
In agreement with the exhibitor advisory panel, Messe Muenchen has brought forward BAU 2003 - the 15th International Trade Fair for Building Materials, Building Systems and Building Renovation - by one day. The event will now run from 13-18 January 2003, starting a day earlier than was originally announced.
The decision was taken at the most recent meeting of the panel. The organisers of the trade fair and the members of the panel agreed that 19 January 2003, a Sunday, should be deleted in favour of Monday 13 January. Trade visitors, in particular, will benefit from the earlier starting date of the trade fair. As was revealed at previous events, trade visitors primarily plan a visit on weekdays. The very high proportion of trade visitors again increased substantially at BAU 2001 - from 90% to 97% of the total.
At the same meeting, Dieter Schaefer was unanimously elected as the new chairman of the exhibitor advisory panel. He succeeds Dr Juergen Lose who had held the post since 1997. Dieter Schaefer brings a wealth of experience and an excellent reputation to the post, says Messe Muenchen. He has been Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutsche Steinzeug Cremer & Breuer AG since 1998 and is also President of the Industrial Association for Ceramic Tiles and Panels.
