New Area Manager for SACMI Refractory Equipment
The Refractory Equipment & Alloy Cold Forging Business Unit of Sacmi (Imola, BO, Italy) has announced the recent appointment of Andrea Grandi to its sales team. From 5 March 2007, Mr Grandi, formerly chief of the electronic technical department for PHR and PHP presses at Sacmi, took up his new role as Sales Area Manager of SACMI Refractory Equipment for East-Europe, Middle-East, India, North-America, as well as Oceania.
The team, already represented by Markus Glaser (Middle and Northern Europe) and Gianluca Alberti (China, Far East, Turkey and its relevant close middle-eastern countries) is led by Matteo Federici, Manager, maintaining ad interim the direct sales control in the countries of the Mediterranean basin (Italy included) as well as in Africa and South America.
The refractory equipment team said it welcomed Andrea Grandi and, on the occasion of his appointment, wished as well to gratefully express its warm thanks to Pieraldo Masotti who, after having founded, developed and guided the SACMI Refractory Division for more than 20 years, finished his time with these activities at the end of 2006.
