Paper Product Added to Thermal Insulation Range

Unifrax Corporation (Niagra Falls, NY, USA and Paris, France) has added a new product to the 'Isofrax' thermal insulation product family. Isofrax 1260C Paper is manufactured by forming Isofrax 1260C Fibre in a non-woven matrix and holding the fibres in place with both organic and inorganic binders.

The paper is said to use the unique properties of the Unifrax Corporation's patented Isofrax 1260C Fibre in a statistically controlled paper-making process to form a uniform, high index, non-woven material. Problem-solving advantages include:

  • High temperature stability to 1260°C
  • Low thermal conductivity
  • Meets European regulatory requirements

  • The paper is currently available in 1mm, 2mm, 3mm and 6mm thicknesses. Several roll sizes are available. The paper has a high fibre index (70%) and is easy to wrap, shape or cut.
