Italian Industry Leaders Choose Tecnargilla

The world-leading Italian companies Sacmi and System have hailed Tecnargilla as the "key exhibition".

The leading Italian ceramic technology manufacturing companies have hailed Tecnargilla as the sector’s most important exhibition at a world level, contributing to the success of this year’s show (to be held from 28 September to 2 October in the Rimini exhibition centre).

"Like many other leading companies in the sector," explained Franco Stefani, owner of System, "for years now we have chosen Tecnargilla as our most important exhibition, the crucial venue for unveiling new products and for focusing our greatest efforts in terms of communication and marketing.

"As a result our presence at other trade shows abroad, while often unavoidable, serves more for representation and for consolidating market share." System’s choice of Tecnargilla is well motivated, according to this recent report from the organisers: "The aspect that I find most important about Tecnargilla," Stefani said, "is the fact that it is chosen by a large number of companies as the place to unveil their new ideas, solutions and innovations. Customers are well aware of this and appreciate the show for precisely this reason."

At Tecnargilla 2006, the world-leading Italian companies have not only unanimously reconfirmed their bookings, but are also requesting more space in order to be able to showcase their new technologies in the best possible way, said Rimini Fiera.

Sacmi is a case in point. Claudio Marani, Director of the Ceramics&Tiles division, stressed his company’s belief that "Tecnargilla is the very best exhibition for our sector".

"For this reason," he continued, "we intend to focus a great deal of effort on the show. This includes everything from the exhibition area, which will be expanded considerably, to the presentation of new products. In particular we will be showcasing our new two-channel kiln, which has a sophisticated design and is highly innovative in terms of environmental impact and technology, especially in its simplicity of use for the operator."

But this is not the only new technology that Sacmi will be unveiling at Tecnargilla 2006: "All the group’s companies will be taking part in the show," Marani continued, "which means that we will also be presenting new products in the refractory and third firing sectors. The latest new products in the sanitaryware sector will also be on display. In particular, Sacmi will be exhibiting a highly innovative machine for high-pressure casting of WCs."
