Complete New Plant for Synar Karya in Indonesia


Summer 2005 is set to see the start-up of the completely new plant commissioned from Barbieri & Tarozzi Srl (Formigine, MO, Italy) by Synar Karya in Indonesia.

The new line will produce 13,000 square metres per day of single-fired tiles in white body, in formats of 200mm x 200mm, 300mm x 300mm and 400mm x 400mm.

The plant includes six BM 38000 mills for the preparation of the ceramic body, an SD 6000 atomiser, six mills for grinding the glazes, three VIS 2000/1750 presses, two single-channel dryers with 2650mm infeed opening, and two 82.14-metre single-channel kilns with related dryer and kiln loading/unloading machines.
