Superwool Products in Brazil

Thermal Ceramics Brazil pioneered in 1976 the production of Ceramic Fibres in Latin America. Traded with the brand Kaowool these products led the market for years. As a continued leader of innovation in 2005 Thermal Ceramics Brazil was the first to produce low bio persistence products in South America. This new product line, Superwool, is said to offer the best solution in high temperature insulating fibres.

In January 2009, Brazil launched the newest Superwool product – Superwool Plus. Superwool Plus is a superior insulating product due to the low non-fiberised materials in the product which improves the thermal conductivity of the product generating more insulating power to the lining. The main applications of the Superwool products in Latin America are: furnace linings; fire stops; fire doors; thermal insulation in vessels and pipes; and fire protection of cable trays in refineries.
