Plans Announced for RefraMat 2006

The international ceramic server CeraMMix 2000 has issued an invitation to international companies to attend the fifth international business meeting for the enterprises of refractory and ceramic branches of the Ukraine and the CIS countries. RefraMat 2006 (Refractories and Technical Ceramics) is scheduled to take place in Slavyansk, Ukraine from 23-25 May 2006, the week following the end of Ceramitec in Munich, Germany.

The event is a joint effort between the 'Don Klio' company in Slavyansk, CeraMMix 2000, and the international centre of independent market research for ceramic industry in that country.

The invitation goes out to meet the top managers and technical experts of the refractory enterprises and consumers of refractory products of the Ukraine and other CIS countries.

The purposes of the forum include:

* Development of the general strategy on promotion of the refractory production to the markets of Ukraine, the CIS countries and abroad.

* Consolidation of partners - manufacturers and suppliers of materials for the refractory industry.

* Search for national and foreign partners for the manufacture of effective, quality products for offering same in the markets.

* The organisation of an effective system for the selling of refractory production.

* Modern refractory materials.

Main topics during the business meeting will address: modern refractory production; energy saving; questions of modernisation of refractory manufactures on the basis of modern technologies; concepts of development of the refractory industry for the period 2006 to 2009; opportunities for the refractory manufacturers of Ukraine and foreign countries for modern production cycle; questions of technical upgrading; available equipment for refractory and thermal product manufacture.
