New Tile Plant Start-Up at RAK Ceramics in UAE

RAK Ceramics has successfully started up the new line for the production of glazed stoneware tile which has been installed at the giant ceramics complex that the group operates in Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates.

All the processing machines supplied by SITI-B&T Group to this major customer are now reported to be completely operative: three discontinuous mills of 30,000 litres capacity, an atomiser of 2,400 litres, a 1200-ton press with span of 1650mm, a horizontal dryer with three layers with useful loading dimensions of 2250mm and length of 11.15m, a single-channel roller kiln of 51.06 metres and feeding inlet of 2000mm.

The Italian company’s supply for this new tile line also includes the storage machines servicing the whole line.

The new facility has a daily production capacity of 3,000 square metres used to produce small pieces of 100mm x 100mm up to 300mm x 300mm.
