Roadshows on Protective Equipment
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE), together with the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), is mounting a series of roadshows on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across the UK to educate stakeholders and to facilitate discussion. They are aimed in particular at managers who have the responsibility for PPE selection, issue and use. However, health and safety professionals, health and safety representatives, Environmental Health Officers, training agencies and health and safety consultants would all benefit from attending.
Meetings are being held at the following locations:
London 19 April Glasgow 25 April Cardiff 2 May Preston 9 May Sheffield 16 May
Beginning with an explanation of the changing legal framework - COSHH and the Chemical Agents Directive - each seminar makes the link between compliance, making the right decisions on PPE and achieving the right results. At each roadshow, expert speakers will talk about protective clothing, gloves and Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE).
