Portugal's Premier Fair for Decorative Ceramic Products

CERANOR 2002 will take place from 5-8 September 2002. This event is Portugal's Ceramics, Glasswork, Decoration and Household Goods Exhibition, claimed by the organisers to be the largest decoration fair in the country. It tends each year to completely fill the EXPONOR exhibition area in Oporto, with well over 50,000 square metres available for exhibiting companies. Visitor numbers - both those from Portugal and outside the country - have been rising considerably.

"CERANOR is an ideal opportunity to contact new customers and seal excellent business deals," said show manager Michelle Quintao. "It is also notable for the quality and variety of the products displayed. The scheduled date of this fair is ideal to present new products, especially since this is a period when customers are making orders for the Christmas season."

Last year, the exhibition had 800 exhibitors, including foreign exhibitors from Italy, Sweden, France, Spain and Brazil. It is estimated that 61% visitors purchased products at the fair, with average orders of more than PTE 1.26 million.

CERANOR 2001 received a total of 22,500 visitors, with an increase in the number of domestic visitors from the different regions of Portugal. Foreign visitors came from many countries in Europe and also from PR China and Mexico.
