New Studio Ceramic Fair for Stoke-on-Trent

The Museums of the Potteries (North Staffs, England) are launching a new studio ceramics fair which is to be held at its preserved 19th century potbank, the Gladstone Pottery Museum in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

Applications are now being invited for spaces at this exciting new event, which will take place on 25-26 September 2004. Selected exhibitors will be asked to donate a piece to the permanent collection of the Museum, instead of paying a fee for their stand. This event, which is planned to be held annually, will it is hoped feed into a new international festival of ceramics to be held in Stoke-on-Trent from 2009.

Exhibitor applications for the first studio ceramics fair will close on 14 May 2004 and successful applicants will be notified by 22 May 2004.
