Ceramiche Mutina Presents ‘Light on Surface’

Ceramiche Mutina Srl (Fiorano Modenese, MO, Italy) will take part in the Fuori Salone in Milan from the 21–27 April with its ‘Light on surface - the material unveiled by light’, an event where light enhances the material and the subtle, irregular perceptions of décors.

On this occasion, Mutina will present the mosaic Random, small sized hexagons realised with the décor texture of the Déchirer collection, where different height patterns, cut and randomly glued on net create original décor effects both for floor and wall.

On stage also will be Déchirer Glass, the new eco-friendly mosaic made of recycled glass which enriches and fulfils the Déchirer project, offering new impulses and expressive potential in the indoor design field.

With Déchirer Glass, presented in the five colours of the Déchirer range, Mutina offers a new idea of creativity for sustainable design.

A product of the newest generation CONTINUA technology together with the exclusive design of the large size surfaces, Déchirer is the new collection in homogeneous fine stoneware, inspired by the nature of cement and born from the collaboration with the designer Patricia Urquiola who has chosen Mutina for her first challenge in the ceramics field. As Patricia Urquiola explains: "I was won over by the gentle determination with which they approached me. I believed in Mutina's passion and creativity, the way I'd believe in an editor eager to develop new projects and grow".
