Mapei's new product for tile business
Mapei has recently launched 'Ultracolor' to the UK tile market. This is a range of coloured grouts available in a choice of 26 shades.
It is described as a rapid setting and hardening, shrink-free, polymer modified cement-based grout produced to a formula developed in Mapei's research laboratories. It can be used on wall and floor tiling for internal and external installations and is suitable for use with all types of ceramic tiles, terracotta, glass mosaics, porcelanatto tiles and also any natural stone, slate or marble.
Ultracolor can be used to grout joints from 2mm to 20mm wide; it is rapid setting, allowing light traffic after three hours, and is fully cured in approximately 24 hours.
