Major Investment at Alcalagres
Spanish tile producer Alcalagres has invested 18 million euro in the new facilities recently brought on stream in Camarma de Esteruelas near Madrid.
The major part of the investment was in two new 4,600-ton presses, dry colouring lines and the largest tile polishing line in the world.
Taken together, the new and existing facilities mean that the company's production capability is now over three million sq.m. per year, according to ASCER.
