Lippert Announces Progress on Finishing Initiatives
Lippert GmbH (Pressath, Germany) says that in response to continuing market trends towards oval, rectangular shaped and curved ceramic articles with circular bases, it has come up with a flat facing solution: the AV 500/600 inline polishing machine for radial diamond wet grinding, already successfully introduced to the market.
For the many cases where it is important for the article bases to be planar - to prevent the pieces from wobbling when placed on a flat surface - Lippert says it has the optimal solution. This is an optional integrated facing wheel which, via smooth interaction with the downstream polishing stations, ensures level bases marked by maximum quality of finish.
