New Owner for French Ceramic Industry Magazine
SIM, the French Mineral Industry Society (Paris, France) has taken over publication of two long-established magazine titles, L'Industrie Ceramique et Verriere and Ciments Betons Platres Chaux. It has also taken over the corresponding editorial and marketing teams.
SIM said that it wished to strengthen its presence in the lives of mineral users by creating appropriate committees as it does for its traditional activities. Another future objective is to organise technical events similar to those it already runs, such as seminars, technical visits and workshops during its annual convention.
Addressing the magazine readers, Editor of L'Industrie Ceramique et Verriere, Emmanuelle Serrano, said: "This acquisition will give the Review a new boost, with a new look at content and presentation...Our wish is to give you a review increasingly tuned to current topics which caters to your information needs and which asserts itself as your privileged source of information and as an indispensable means of communication".
