British Group Being Assembled for Chinese Ceramic Exhibition

PR China has been making giant leaps to become an integrated partner in the global economy. It is the world's largest ceramics producer and is seen as a still largely untapped market for British ceramic technology and expertise.

The Ceramics China Exhibition - an international ceramic industry exhibition now in its 16th year - attracted 40,000 business visitors last year in Guangzhou and will take place in 2002 in Beijing from 2-5 June. Amongst the exhibitors in 2001 was a group of British companies and this year another group will participate in the Beijing show.

Exhibitors are to receive substantial financial and practical support from Trade Partners UK through the International Trade Team at Business Link Staffordshire/North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce. The Commercial Team at the British Embassy is Beijing is also lending its help to create a successful British Pavilion in June.

Any companies interested in attending or exhibiting should contact Wendy Hall, International Trade Adviser, on: 01782 225523.
