Computer control for decal cutting

Exact Technology Ltd (Brackmills, Northants, England), whose computer controlled cutting systems are used in a diverse array of applications - including cardboard packaging, garments, shoes, upholstery, signs, composites, gaskets and shims - also offer a system to cut multi-thickness sheets such as decal (transfer) sheets.

By using a combination of flexible materials, Exact Technology machines can cut up to 20 sheets at once with as many as 120 sheets being on the table at one time. With the introduction of a simple workflow to load and unload the sheets, it becomes a continuous process of loading, cutting and offloading. In addition, information can be transferred from a PC or MAC based graphics programme and used as an outline to cut the sheets in register.
