2002 Glass Odyssey - 6th ESG conference
From 10-14 June 2002, the Belgian city of Charleroi, the historical industrial centre of the glass world, will welcome the 6th conference of the European Society of Glass Science and Technology, an association that brings together almost all European countries. At the same time, the ICG (International Commission on Glass) on a global level, and the USTV (the Technological and Scientific Union of Glass) will hold their annual meeting.
The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists, technologists and managers from universities, research institutes and industries.
Meetings of the Council, Steering Committee of ICG and ESG as well as Technical Committees of ICG will be held during the conference.
The conference will cover a variety of topics relating to glass technology and manufacturing along with glass science. The conference will include invited lectures and contributed papers. The contributed papers may be oral presentations or posters. The final decision will be made by the International Advisory Committee.
