Cookson Comments on Press Reports
On 15 March 2004 Cookson Group PLC said that it had noted the recent press speculation regarding a disposal of its Precious Metals businesses.
It responded: "The Board of Cookson confirms that it is in the early stages of evaluating the various strategic options open to it in respect of its Precious Metals division. No decision has been taken regarding which option it will pursue".
