Substantial Investment for Launch of Claytech

Rimini Fiera SpA (Rimini, Italy) has officially launched its Claytech exhibition to heavy clay suppliers all around the world. Claytech (Technology, Research & Innovation for the Brick and Tile Industry) will make its first appearance at Tecnargilla 2004 (1-5 October 2004) and will draw together companies offering technological solutions for brick and roof tile production.

The Claytech section of Tecnargilla will be held in a single exhibition area of more than 13,000 square metres in Rimini's newest halls (A7 and C7). The area will be clearly identified by customised exhibits and graphic designs, reflecting the new logo. Rimini Fiera said that many of the world's best known companies in the heavy clay field had already booked space, including those from Italy, Germany, Spain and Greece.

'1000 Nights in Rimini' was also unveiled - a unique initiative in which the organisers of Claytech will offer two nights free accommodation to 500 brick and tile manufacturers from all over the world. The nominations will be submitted by the Claytech exhibitors, giving them an extra marketing tool they can use for their existing or potential customers.

Patrizia Cecchi, Sales Director at Rimini Fiera, commented: "This initiative, and the substantial investment that it has involved, clearly demonstrates the importance we attach to the new Claytech project. The aim of '1000 nights in Rimini' is to draw the largest possible number of brick and tile producers to the exhibition, including virtually all the leading international buyers and also smaller companies that have not always planned a visit to an international trade show. We therefore hope that the exhibitors will not limit themselves to nominating only the most important foreign customers who are already habitual visitors to Tecnargilla".
