New Dates and Venue Announced for CeramAsia 2005

The recent tsunami disaster in South East Asia and subsequent uncertainty about travel to the region has prompted organisers Expolog Ltd (Newcastle, Staffs, England) to change the dates of the CeramAsia 2005 Exhibition and Conference.

Taking advantage of the fact that there is no competitive European ceramics show this autumn, Expolog has moved CeramAsia to 7-9 October 2005 and early indications are that the new dates will have a very positive effect on exhibitor bookings and visitor numbers.

As Expolog's Managing Director Robert Vicary remarked: "Many European exhibitors who would normally direct their efforts towards recognised European events are taking this opportunity to explore the SE Asian market or spend time supporting their existing agents".

Almost 100 companies had already expressed interest in CeramAsia before these date changes. Now, Expolog is expecting even greater interest. Event Director Nick Wheatley added: "CeramAsia will now be the largest general ceramics event this year and with many major international corporations already signed up, it will provide a perfect platform for both Eastern and Western exhibitors and visitors to exchange ideas and do good business".

The event will now take place at the Bangkok Convention Center, Thailand. Revised literature has been prepared for circulation and the new details can be found on the exhibition website: www.ceramasia.com
