Imerys Acquires Burton-Apta in Hungary
Imerys has recently acquired Burton-Apta in Hungary. With immediate effect, Burton-Apta will operate under the new name of Imerys Magyarorszag Tuzalloanyagyarto Kft as a fully integrated member of the existing Imerys Kiln Furniture organisation.
The company said that the integration of two major players would benefit customers, providing more diversified production technologies, a larger range of both white and black products, together with increased innovation and expertise.
"With an integrated structure and industrial sites in France, Spain, Thailand and now Hungary, Imerys Kiln Furniture is actively working with its customers to provide best ceramic concepts and refractory solutions based on a complete range of kiln furniture products," added the company.
