Slight Sales Increase for Yageo
Taiwan's Yageo Corporation announced on 8 June 2004 that its world-wide sales netted NT$1.553 billion in May 2004, continuously setting a record high performance since May 2001.
The May 2004 sales, which increased slightly from April - and which were up 29% against May 2003 - were primarily driven by demand from consumer electronics and telecommunications.
The accumulated sales from January to May 2004 were NT$7.303 billion, which the company said showed a year-on-year growth of 12%.
