Yageo Reports May Sales of NT$1.76 billion
Although slightly impacted by the one-week holiday (Labor Day) in the Great China area, Yageo Corporation (Taiwan) has announced that its world-wide May net sales reached NT$1.76 billion with an 8% year-on-year growth, thanks to ongoing product mix improvement.
Accumulated sales from January to April came to NT$8.725 billion, also up 8% year-on-year.
In May, the China region posted revenues of NT$687 million, a 27% increase from the prior year. Taiwan and Asia Pacific (AP) areas reported NT$410 million net sales. Europe and NAFTA combined produced sales of NT$520 million, up 3% year-on-year. Compostar and Chipcera collectively generated NT$143 million in May sales.
