Vibrasonic Retrofit System for Elimination of Mesh Blinding

The Vibrasonic 2000 mesh deblinding system, claimed to provide am extremely cost effective way for users to eliminate mesh blinding and so transform performance levels and production line efficiency, is now available as a retrofit kit from separation technology specialist Russell Finex Ltd (Feltham, Middx, England).

For the first time, the Vibrasonic 2000 system can now be fitted to any existing round separator, giving cost and operational advantages - such as elimination of mesh blinding, increased throughput, improved grading and finer meshes with longer screen life - without the need to invest in a completely new machine.

The company says that this results in a measurable increase in productivity, particularly when processing difficult, dry or sticky materials, at a fraction of the cost of a new separator.

The system can be retrofitted to most makes of vibratory screen up to 60 inches in diameter, requiring only minor adjustments to the mesh frame - all modification work being carried out by the Russell Finex team of engineers. The company claims to be the only one manufacturing both sieving and ultrasonic deblinding equipment and adds that this modification work is critical to get the most out of the system and sieve.

The company said: "Russell's patented Vibrasonic mesh deblinding system has revolutionised the screening of difficult materials such as electrostatic powder paint, stainless steel powder, iron powder, tungsten carbide and manganese sulphide, allowing higher throughputs and efficient screening of materials using meshes as fine as 20 microns".
