Tecnargilla to Overlap with Cersaie
To cater for the many visitors who want to visit both Tecnargilla and Cersaie in Italy next autumn, the dates of the two events will once again overlap, with Tecnargilla 2006 taking place in Rimini from 28 September until 2 October and Cersaie 2006 running from 26 September until 30 September in Bologna.
As a result of steady growth, Tecnargilla has seen its gross size expand by 124% over the past five shows, held between 1995 and 2004.
Visitor numbers have also increased substantially over the period. At the 2004 show, 88% of visitors consisted of people responsible for making (32%) or influencing (56%) companies' investment decisions. Alongside 37% ceramic company technicians, Tecnargilla was also attended by numerous owners (21%) and directors (18%) of ceramic companies who wanted to observe the latest technological proposals.
Again in 2006 Tecnargilla will be featuring two specialist sections. The first is Kromatech, devoted to colour technology, creativity and trends in the ceramic industry, now established as the world's foremost showcase for the glaze and raw material supplier sector in terms of exhibition scope and numbers of exhibitors.
The second is Claytech, catering for the brick and roof tile industry, which was extremely well received by visitors at its launch edition in 2004; it aims to achieve growth in 2006.
Exhibition space overall at Tecnargilla 2006 - the 20th in the series - is expected to reach 83,000 sq.m. gross.
