Taiwanese Ceramic Company Opens European Operation
The Taiwan based manufacturer of ceramic capacitors, Holy Stone Enterprise Company Ltd has announced the opening of HolyStone (Europe) Ltd. HolyStone (Europe) Ltd – headquartered in Norwich (Norfolk, England) – is under the direction of General Manager John Plaskett. Many in the industry know John from his 30 years' experience in the capacitor field and from his previous position as Managing Director of Syfer.
John has assembled a team of experienced sales and technical people who will provide support for Holy Stone customers, agents and distributors throughout Europe.
Holy Stone Enterprise Co is based in Taipei, Taiwan with factories in Lungtan, Taiwan and in Guangdong, China. The company was founded in 1981 and is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
With the support of an advanced materials laboratory in Japan, Holy Stone produces a broad line of standard and specialised products. The modern factories use state-of-the-art equipment and technology. The facilities are ISO 9000:2000, ISO 14001 and QS 9000 certified. The company also holds many internationally recognised product approvals for its safety capacitors.
In recent years, Holy Stone has established itself as a formidable player in the high voltage, high capacitance and application specific capacitor markets in Asia. The new Europe operation, in addition to USA based HolyStone International established three years ago, is another step in expanding Holy Stone's global presence and recognition.
