New Supervisory Board Member at RHI
August Francois von Finck, one of the three core shareholders of refractories group RHI AG with a stake of slightly more than 9%, was voted on to the company's Supervisory Board at the 25th AGM, held in Vienna, Austria.
Mr von Finck succeeds Dr Walter Ressler who was not able to stand once again after his terms came to an end in view of the age limit for Supervisory Board members set forth in the Corporate Governance Code.
Dr Ressler was closely associated with the RHI Group for more than 46 years. RHI said that in the past few decades he played a key role in the development of today's world market leader in the refractories sector as a member of the Board of Management (CEO from 1995 to 1999) and subsequently as a member of the Supervisory Board (Chairman from 1999 to 2002).
