66% Higher Field Strength Demonstrated by New Magnets

Master Magnets (Birmingham, England) has just launched a new range of high intensity tube magnets. The new MasterMag tubes, now offered as standard, have a field strength 66% higher than first generation tube magnets.

The increased field strength of the magnetic tubes means that fine ferrous particles are removed more effectively and securely held against the magnet. The chance of any magnetics being 'washed off' by the product flow, says the company, is dramatically reduced, ensuring a cleaner product.

Suitable for the removal of iron fines, the tubes can be used singly for product inspection and testing or can be built into single or multi-grid arrangements for installation in hoppers, chutes, ducts and gravity feeds. Tubes can also be installed into a Mastertrap liquid pipeline separator for the removal of iron fines from liquid or viscous product.
