Pyrotek Acquires Thermal Systems America
Industrial Heating (www.industrialheating.com) reports that Pyrotek Inc (Carlisle, PA, USA) has acquired the assets of Thermal Systems America (Syracuse, NY, USA), a manufacturer of engineered refractory shapes and systems.
As a result of the acquisition, Pyrotek can offer refractory system design, manufacture, installation and repair services from a single supplier. Thermal Systems America's name will change to Pyrotek and operations are expected to expand at TSA's manufacturing facility in Syracuse.
Former TSA owners Dave Quilter and Jim Bintz will stay with Pyrotek as managers of refractory systems overseeing engineering, manufacturing operations and offering technical expertise to Pyrotek's sales force and its customers.
