Porvair Launches Porvair Fuel Cell Technologies
Hendersonville, NC Porvair PLC has created a new business entity to bring its porous materials expertise to the emerging fuel cell technology market. The new entity, located in Hendersonville, NC, is called Porvair Fuel Cell Technology. Its president is James Stike.
"Porvair is well positioned to become a key supplier to the emerging fuel cell market," said Stike. "As this exciting technology approaches commercialization, the requirement for components that are reliable, efficient and cost effective is growing. Fuel cell systems rely on porous media and Porvair is a world leader in porous materials technology" said James Stike, Porvairšs president.
"Porvair and our sister company Selee Corp. have over 30 years experience in the development, commercialization and world class manufacturing ability necessary to be a sizeable player in this market. We are QS9000, ISO9001 and FordQ1 accredited, and have R&D, pilot and full production capabilities in place."
