Neoflux Magnets Aimed at Ceramic Materials Preparation

Goudsmit Magnetic Systems BV (Waalre, Holland) has presented a complete new range of magnets for the ceramic industry. These systems are said to ensure an iron-free finished product and eliminate so-called 'black speck' on ceramic ware. This helps prevent the occurrence of reject products at the end of the line.

The powerful Neoflux magnets penetrate deep into the heart of the product, removing particles as small as 35 microns from raw materials. This takes place entirely automatically and without any loss of materials, according to the company. The magnets ensure permanent monitoring of the product and are entirely maintenance-free. They can be used during both the wet and dry stages of the process.

Several types of magnets are available: for liquids; for products that do not flow freely; for continuous processes; and for crushing mills.
