Modular Courses Designed for Industry

After over 25 years of providing the materials handling industry with two- and three-day courses, The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology (Woolwich, London) is introducing a new concept of two 1-day modules and this is being launched now with the introduction of the following modular course: 'Storage & Discharge of Powders and Bulk Solids using Hoppers, Silos, Bins and Bunkers'.

The new set-up has been designed to help busy engineers in industry - personnel can be released to attend for shorter periods which helps to reduce the cost and inconvenience of having personnel away from their workplace for more than a day at a time.

Coming up:

MODULE 1
Basics of Operation, Design and Specification 5 July 2001

MODULE 2
Determination of Correct Design for Reliable Discharge 12 July 2001 and March 2002

Both days are designed so that they can be attended as stand-alone modules, but the Centre says the most benefit will be gained from attending both.
