Microwave Testing Centre

Ceralink Inc (Alfred, NY, USA) has developed the first comprehensive microwave testing centre with nearly US$1 million in seed funding. At this advanced laboratory, it is establishing a suite of the best furnaces currently on the market that will make up what is described as a unique infrastructure of test and measuring equipment.

Ceralink will aim to show customers how to convert from traditional to microwave firing or microwave assist firing. It can help producers use microwave energy to develop faster firing cycles, lower energy input and more cost effective production. Its prospectus points out that it provides unbiased consulting on microwave equipment.

Services being launched address the customer's need for:

» A quick answer...a microwave feasibility testing facility that offers a snapshot feasibility in 2-4 weeks.

» A change of focus...the chance to talk directly with Ceralink engineers at any time.

» A comprehensive study...Ceralink can work collaboratively with a university and graduate students. It may even be able to help secure government funding for research.

» Scaling up...Ceralink will troubleshoot through the transitions and work with equipment manufacturers. It says it will make sure customers' processes work the way they should at an appropriate price.
