New Supplier of Filter Press Cloths to the Ceramics Industry

Max Filtration has recently been formed to supply filter cloths to the ceramic industry. John Allerton who has over 30 years experience in the filtration field, previously working for G.H Heath & Son (U.K) Ltd in Burslem, has teamed up with Tim Berrisford in this new venture from their offices in the heart of Stoke.

Max Filtration have been appointed as U.K and European agents for NFM Filter Media of the United States who are the largest manufacturer of filtration products in America.
"We have been over to America to familiarize ourselves with the product range, and we offer very high quality cloths at competitive prices. All cloths are cut using the latest high tech laser cutting machinery and the staff are very experienced in the make-up requirements. I believe that with the considerable knowledge of the NFM staff we can offer to U.K and European ceramic manufacturers a product that is a technical improvement against existing products." said John Allerton.

The cloths can be supplied to suit both ceramic and effluent applications in sizes ranging from 500mm upto 2 metres square, and they encompass a wide range of fabrics to suit both low and high pressure applications. One advantage is that the cloths can be supplied with a velcro fastening system, which enables the cloths to be changed more easily, compared to conventional eyelets or rod suspension. Max Filtration has a facility to hold standard cloths in stock and can therefore offer the cloths to ceramic companies at a very quick lead-time. Tim Berrisford said
"Even if we order a specific requirement for a client from America we should be able to get this delivered to the customer within four working weeks."

In addition to the wet filtration products the company also supplies an extensive range of dust filtration products, the products enabling companies to meet their environmental protection goals.

At present the company is developing their own web site which will be featuring many of the companies product range, further details can be obtained at www.maxfiltration.com
