China Jingdezhen International Ceramic Fair Scheduled for October
In order to consolidate and expand the achievements of the fair, the 2007 China Jingdezhen International Ceramic Fair will be held from 18-22 October 2007. It is sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of State Commerce, China National Light Industry Council, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Jiangxi Provincial People's Government.
China Jingdezhen International Ceramic Fair is the only international, specialised, market-oriented and standardised ceramic fair currently being sponsored by all these bodies. It aims at ceramic merchandise, economics and trade discussion and cultural exchange. The annual fair has been successfully held three times since 2004, with steady development of high level activities, increasing number of exhibitors and purchase groups and what is described as a “remarkable turnover year by year”.
There are three Exhibition Halls that offer 1,200 standard booths. The exhibition includes: domestic fine ceramics; international ceramics; high-tech ceramics; building ceramics and ceramic sanitaryware; porcelain for daily use and artistic/ornamental porcelain ware; plus famous works by well-known artists and imitation antique porcelain.
Come the show, there will be more than 800 famous ceramic manufacturers and more than 10,000 ceramic dealers coming to take part in this fair from over 40 countries and domestic ceramic-making areas such as Guangdong, Shandong, Hebei, Hunan, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangxi, Sichuan, Jiangxi and so on.
