German Event Offers Visit/Seminar Mix
The German Ceramic Society (DKG), under the auspices of its 'Silikatkeramik' industrial division, is organising an event over 23-24 June 2005 in Hoehr-Grenzhausen.
The first day will offer site trips, with the first route option taking in SYSTEMCERAM GmbH & Co KG in Siersahn and the WBB Fuchs site in Hilgert. The second route option will take in the WBB Fuchs site in Niederahr and then Deutsche Steinzeug Cremer & Breuer Keramik GmbH in Oetzingen. Everyone gathers in the evening at the Tonbergbaumuseum Westerwald in Siersahn.
The second day's activities will take place at the CeraTecCenter in Hoehr-Grenzhausen. There will be presentations by K Holhfeld (KI Keramik-Institut Meissen); D Herlan, M Klaas, P Kuch and K Schroeder (WBB Fuchs GmbH & Co KG); G Fassbinder (Lapp Insulator GmbH); J Werner (Forschungsinstitut fur anorganische Werkstoffe- Glas/Keramik - GmbH); R Nass (Nanogate Technologies GmbH); and H Reichl (Julius Lippert GmbH & Co KG).
