Furnace Company Takeover in Germany

Linn High Therm (Plant II, Bad Frankenhausen, Germany) has acquired L.E.N.A. Industrieofenbau GmbH - originally set up in Hersbruck in 1997 out of Linn Industrieofenbau GmbH - which filed for bankruptcy at the end of May 2002. The former location of L.E.N.A. is no longer in operation and all responsibilities for the company now lie with Linn High Therm.

This acquisition means that the know-how for constructing larger industrial furnaces, inclusive of machines and units, has mostly passed on to the new owners. All current customer inquiries and orders will be processed and, additionally, new jobs will be created at Linn's plant in Bad Frankenhausen. Moreover, said Linn, it will offer to carry out all the service and maintenance work for those L.E.N.A. units already installed and will ensure the supply of spare parts for old units as far as possible.

The web site - www.lena.de - will remain in place.

Linn High Therm is headquartered in Eschenfelden, Germany with Horst Linn as Managing Director.
