German Porcelain Tile Maker Boosts Output
Argelith Bodenkeramik H Bitte GmbH (Bad Essen-Wehrendorf, Germany) is all set to boost its output thanks to a continuing technical partnership with Sacmi (Imola, BO, Italy). Argelith has a solid tradition since 1870 of manufacturing high thickness industrial ceramic floor tiles for use in high-traffic areas.
By next year, a new kiln for the high temperature firing of heavy products - an FMS223 model which is over 100m long - will be up and running. This will ensure increased output and outstanding quality. The technical and performance requisites of the product - largely aimed at the commercial construction sector - mean that both processes and manufacturing machinery must be of optimum quality.
