Barco Selects Apso 3Di Technology

Barco Graphics (Gent, Belgium) has chosen Apso 3DI technology as its recommended visualisation tool to cater for its activities in its Decorative Systems Division, a part of Barco Industrial Printing. This includes its products for the Ceramic Market.

Decorative Systems Channel Manager Peter Lewald said: "After researching the various options available in the CAD marketplace, we selected Apso because not only do they have the best visualization tool, but the 3DI product team have proven to be responsive and professional and we are happy to be working with them".

Barco is to offer Apso's 3DI authoring tool to customers and prospects in ceramics, floorcoverings, wallcoverings, textiles and other associated industrial printing sectors.

Apso's Managing Director Jamie Harrison said: "We are delighted to be working with Barco. I am pleased for the whole Apso team who have worked so hard to make 3DI such an excellent solution; this endorsement from Barco makes all the effort seem worthwhile. From a strategic point of view, this is a major step towards establishing 3DI as the de facto standard in visualisation both on and off the web".
