ES&P to Auction Pottery Equipment


Edwards Symmons & Partners (ES&P) are to sell by auction the contents of the recently closed Dartmouth Pottery, Warfleet Creek, Dartmouth. The sale will take place on 17 July 2002 at 11am.

Equipment includes six electric kilns, mixing tanks, an HPC Plusair rotary screw air compressor, a glaze spray booth, mould presses, a Wytecheng gas plate and bowl drying oven, trollies, benches and approximately 2,000 moulds. In addition to the pottery equipment, a range of equipment from the kitchen, shop and offices is also to be sold.

Viewing will take place on 16 July 2002 between 10am and 4pm and on the morning of the sale.

Simon Light of ES&P said: "This is an unusual sale which should attract considerable interest from the general public as well as trade buyers".
