Six Companies Receive Acimac QM Certification

Acimac says that to date, six Italian manufacturers/suppliers to the ceramic industry have received the Acimac Quality Mark Certification. Testo Presses, colorimetric systems, moulds and piston pumps are just a few of the products that have obtained this certification.

Lema, based in the province of Como, was the first company to gain certification for three types of ceramic tile moulds: re-entering punch, mirror and transfer moulds. "It was an opportunity to demonstrate the technical qualities of an Italian product at an international level," explained Production Manager Jonathan Ponzoni.

The Barbieri&Tarozzi Group (Formigine, MO) obtained the quality mark for its Clock range of presses. "A tool with a strong influence on customers that certifies Italian technology and sets it apart from that of other countries, while at the same time guaranteeing compliance with high technical and technological standards," was the view expressed by General Director Fabio Tarozzi.

Sacmi Imola received the mark for its Series 2000 and Power presses. According to General Director Eugenio Emiliani: "It provides recognition of the quality that sets Italian products apart from those of foreign companies. It is a quality system created with the intention of certifying producers with high standards of quality, service and safety that are currently unattainable by Asian competitors. This will allow customers to choose Italian products that offer certified technical characteristics, support and warranty."

Euromeccanica (Maranello, MO) obtained the AQM for its Tintoretto, Raffaello, Giotto and Eurorotomix colorimetric systems and for its series of Euromix microsphere glaze mills. Orizzonte (Fiorano, MO) gained certification for the quality and reliability of its re-entering punch and transfer moulds for ceramic tiles and trim pieces. Tecnopress (Fiorano, MO) received the mark for several models of piston pumps for ceramic slip (TPB 85 CE and TPB 88 CE).
