Yageo Reports June Net Sales Up 45%
Yageo Corporation (Hsin Tien, Taipei) has announced that its June world-wide net sales totalled NT$1.632
billion, up sequentially and 45% year-on-year, primarily a function of ongoing product mix improvement and stable pricing environment.
This brings the second quarter sales to NT$4.9 billion, setting a record high in five years. Accumulated sales from January to June increased by 33% from the same period last year to NT$9.719 billion.June net sales in Taiwan and Asian Pacific (AP) areas edged up 4% to NT$401 million. China region posted NT$546 million in turnover, surging 52% over a year ago. Europe and NAFTA combined registered NT$546 million in sales, up 40% from the prior year. Compostar generated NT$149 million in June.
