Yageo Names Chief Technical Officer
Yageo Corporation (Hsin Tien, Taipei, Taiwan) has announced that Dr Masayuki Fujimoto is the new Chief Technical Officer of the company. Dr Fujimoto's technology background in ceramic materials, thin film devices and bluetooth modules will further enhance Yageo's technology developments.
Prior to joining Yageo, Dr Fujimoto was Professor of the Graduate School of Science & Engineering at Shizuoka University in Japan and was a visiting scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His outstanding academic performance was commended by numerous professional awards, including the 61st Award for Academic Achievements of the Ceramic Society of Japan in 2007 and the Scientific Microphotograph Award of the Ceramic Society of Japan in 2002.
Dr Fujimoto also has solid experience in the passive component industry. He has served in Taiyo Yuden Co Ltd, Japan as General Manager of Wireless Information Network Group, Centre Head of Physical Properties Evaluation Centre and General Manager of Central Research Laboratories.
Dr Fujimoto holds a PhD degree in engineering from the University of Tokyo and received his BSc degree from Tokyo University of Science, Japan.
